Change-out labour eliminated
No consumable element and no scheduled shutdown — most installations recover their capital premium within eighteen to thirty months on labour alone.
Automatic backwashing and mechanically scraped filters that clean on differential pressure, time or flow — losing under 1% of throughput to purge.
Overview
Manual filtration has a hidden cost that never appears on the purchase order: the labour, downtime and disposal of every change-out for the life of the plant. On high-solids duty running continuously, that cost overtakes the capital cost of an automatic filter within eighteen to thirty months.
The AXIS series cleans on demand. A differential pressure transmitter triggers the cycle, a motorised scraper or reverse-flow nozzle sweeps the screen, and the concentrated solids exit through a purge valve in eight to fifteen seconds. Forward flow is never interrupted.
Where the process cannot tolerate any purge loss, the AXIS-R configuration returns purge liquid to a small recovery loop with a bag filter, recovering better than 95% of the discharged volume and reducing net loss to a rounding error.
Configurations
AXIS-SC
Motorised scraper for viscous fluids and fibrous, deformable solids.
AXIS-BW
Suction-nozzle backwash for hard particulate in water and light hydrocarbons.
AXIS-MP
Multi-cartridge parallel arrangement with sequential backwash for high flows.
AXIS-R
Purge recovery loop returning over 95% of backwash liquid to the process.
AXIS-EX
ATEX Zone 1 / Zone 2 certified construction for hazardous-area installation.
No consumable element and no scheduled shutdown — most installations recover their capital premium within eighteen to thirty months on labour alone.
Forward flow continues throughout the backwash cycle, so downstream equipment never sees a pressure or flow transient.
Nozzle geometry concentrates the backwash on the loaded screen segment instead of flooding the entire element.
Modbus TCP, Profinet and Ethernet/IP are standard, so differential pressure and cycle counts land in your DCS as live tags.
