The story

We built the laboratory before we built the sales team.

In 2012, six years into the business, we spent more than a year's profit on an integrity test laboratory. It was not an obvious commercial decision. Our competitors were sending elements to third-party labs and waiting weeks for a certificate.

What it bought us was the ability to say a number and mean it. A beta ratio measured on our own multipass rig, an aerosol carryover figure from our own ISO 12500 bench, a scan test on the specific HEPA element leaving the building — not a population average, not a supplier's claim.

Everything since has followed the same pattern. The CFD group exists because we were tired of discovering flow maldistribution at commissioning. The cleanroom exists because pharmaceutical clients needed validation evidence, not assurances. The second campus exists because a 61-tonne separator will not fit through the door of the first one.

Nineteen years on, we are a filtration engineering company that happens to have excellent fabrication, rather than a fabricator that also sells filters. The distinction shows up in every quotation we send.

Vision

A world where every industrial process runs on clean streams — where separation is no longer the weak link between ambition and output.

Mission

To engineer filtration systems that hold their rating on the ten-thousandth cycle, and to hand every client the data that proves it.

Quality policy

Worldasatech maintains a quality management system that treats every filtration element as a pressure-retaining, life-safety component. We qualify raw material at receipt, hold weld procedures to ASME IX with in-house requalification every six months, and release no system without a signed, retrievable data book covering material traceability, hydrostatic proof, integrity verification and dimensional conformance.

Timeline

Nineteen years, eight decisions that mattered.

  1. 2006

Founded as a housing fabrication shop

Three engineers, one rolling machine, and a contract to build basket strainers for a regional chemicals plant.

  2. 2009

    First ASME U-stamp vessel

Certification opened the door to hydrocarbon service and moved the company from parts supplier to system builder.

  3. 2012

    Integrity test laboratory commissioned

In-house bubble-point, diffusion and multipass rigs ended reliance on third-party validation and cut lead times by weeks.

  4. 2015

    Automated self-cleaning platform launched

The AXIS series introduced differential-pressure-triggered backwash to clients running high-solids cooling loops.

  5. 2018

    Gas coalescing division established

Dedicated engineering for natural gas, instrument air and compressor protection, validated to ISO 12500.

  6. 2021

    Second campus and CFD group

A 14,000 m² facility with computational fluid dynamics in-house, letting us model vessel internals before steel is cut.

  7. 2023

    Pharmaceutical cleanroom line

Class 8 assembly and validation for sterilising-grade cartridges, released with full extractables documentation.

  8. 2026

    Hydrogen and semiconductor programmes

Ultra-high-purity separation for electrolyser feed loops and sub-fab abatement, now in qualification with three global OEMs.

Values

Six principles, written the way we actually apply them.

These are operating rules, not aspirations. Each one has cost us money at least once, which is how we know they are real.

01

Evidence over assertion

Every rating we publish is traceable to a witnessed test on our own rigs. If we cannot measure it, we do not claim it.

02

Design for the tenth year

Housings are sized for the fatigue cycle, not the datasheet. We engineer for the decade a plant actually runs, not the day it starts.

03

Metallurgy is a decision

Alloy selection is treated as an engineering discipline — chloride load, temperature, and duty cycle drive the choice, never habit.

04

Answer fast, then answer well

A process engineer stuck on a line needs a number today. We resolve first, document second, and never invert the order.

05

Own the commissioning

Our responsibility ends when the differential pressure curve settles on site — not when the crate leaves the gate.

06

Build people, not headcount

Welders, designers and validation engineers are trained in-house against internal qualifications above the code minimum.

Why Worldasatech

Six reasons process engineers keep the number.

None of these are differentiators on a brochure. They are the things that decide whether a filtration system still works in year seven.

01

We size it before we sell it

Every quotation carries the calculation behind it — flow, velocity, pressure budget and turndown. If the numbers say our product is wrong for your duty, the quotation says so too.

02

Design and fabrication share a floor

The engineer who drew it can walk to the bay where it is being built. Constructability problems are solved in hours instead of through revision cycles.

03

Our own laboratory, not a subcontractor's

Multipass efficiency, aerosol carryover and integrity testing run on rigs we own. Validation is measured in days, not scheduled around someone else's queue.

04

One named engineer, start to finish

The same person owns your project from enquiry through commissioning, and remains reachable afterwards. There is no handover point where knowledge evaporates.

05

Documentation built for audit

Data books are indexed, traceable and delivered at dispatch — not assembled retrospectively when an inspector asks for them.

06

We service what others supplied

Relationships frequently start with an independent assessment of somebody else's installation. We will tell you if it is fine.

Work with us

Start with a conversation, not a purchase order.

Most of our long-standing clients began with a question about somebody else's equipment. We are comfortable with that.
